Having a Lott of fun!

Sheesh! Di and fam came in July and I'm finally getting around to blogging some pictures on this, the last day of September. I've been a slacker! It must be all of those Korean TV dramas I'm watching that have side-tracked me. Let me just tell you that I had a Lott of fun with these kooky kids while Di and Dave were in Hawaii! Here's proof!

No, the kids didn't catch this catfish - the people next to us did. We were hoping for a catfish, too!

If this little guy comes up missing, he's with me. Just sayin' so you know where to look. No Amber Alert necessary.

Hopin' for a catfish!

"I don't want to go yet...can't we stay longer?!"

"It's not a fish, but I caught SOMETHING!"

This little man was in heaven!

"It's a diamond!"

What the heck. Go ahead, get wet!

Love these kiddos sooooooo  much!!!!!

Generations

Four generations!

Marie started this tablecloth for Mom and Dad and it is almost finished making the rounds of the family. A hand print (or footprint, in Azalea's case) for each of the six siblings and their children as well!

Mom and Dad will add their hand prints to the center!

Azalea's Blessing

Azalea was blessed by her daddy on July 8, 2012 in his parents' ward in Kaysville, Utah. Holly and Burd were really brave to drive from Hermiston to Utah with 2-month Azalea for the blessing! It sure made it nice for family and friends to be at this special event. Burd's sweet parents hosted the dinner and get-together afterwards at their home.

Here are some pictures to document the great occasion. I crocheted the blessing dress and booties and Jan knitted the blessing blanket. Little Azalea is sure loved!

I made a little slip and ruffled diaper cover, too.

This is the lovely, soft blanket Jan knitted for Azalea!

Azalea would have been happy to sleep all morning, it seemed.

We had to wake her up to get ready, and she didn't mind at all.

Yay! A bath! The day gets better!

At Burd's parents home, just before the blessing.

Such a special day with her daddy!

Azalea's Uncle Jon set up a photo studio in Burd's parents' basement and snapped away. He shared these cute photos with me!

A couple of Azalea's first friends who attended the blessing.

What a wonderful day! I'm pooped!
