Dixie Chix 2

It's amazing how much fun we could cram into just three days. And yes, the pathological photographer in me wanted to capture it all. So here are lots more pictures of our Dixie trip. We dressed up on Sunday and dropped into Sacrament Meeting at the chapel across the street from the St. George Temple. After church, we enjoyed walking around the temple grounds and going through the visitors center. Did you know that the saints grew cotton in St. George? See if you can find a couple of pictures with some cotton as you scroll down. And take a close look at Zaidee's and Alexis' beautiful hair styles! Aunt Sue performed her magic and the girls' hair look spectacular all intricately braided! Works of art!

Dixie Chix

 Our first annual Girls' Weekend to Dixie was last weekend. I know, another trip! I've had a lot of fun in the last few weeks! I love my mom, sisters, and nieces so much. Mom treated us to The Little Mermaid at the Tuacahn Theater and it was amazing. We spent our free time exploring the St. George Temple, Brigham Young's Summer Home, the old school that my dad attended as a youngster, shopping, hiking Snow Canyon, swimming, knitting, taking pictures, hanging out with each other, and more. On the way home, we explored Cove Fort. I know I won't get photos of all of our activities in this post, but I'll get started. Enjoy!

Hermiston and Lake Chelan

The past few weeks have been so much fun! At the end of September, I got to go visit Holly and Burdette in Hermiston, Oregon (just as they moved to a new apartment), and then we all headed up north to Lake Chelan, Washington. We explored the lake on a boat and spent an afternoon making apple cider with a 100-year old press (that has been motorized - good thing!). It was a fast weekend, but so much fun!
