Happy Mom's Day

I'm a week late posting a Mom's Day photo, but my computer has been ill - very ill. I think it's recovered now and I'm back in business.

What would Mother's Day be for me if I didn't spend it with my cute mom? It seems to be my tradition every year.  I know, I'm lucky that I live only 7 miles away from her. So I try to take advantage of it.

I love what Di posted on her blog about moms. One of the things she said about our Mom was: "My Mother is my greatest example of love, courage, strength, hope and FAITH." When I read that, I had to smile, because that is EXACTLY how I feel about my mom. I know I'll embarrass her by writing this, but I really do think that she is PERFECT. She is my angel on earth. It's so amazing to be loved so much by her. Thank you, Mom, for just being you and leading the way. I love YOU!

It was so fun to have Holly and Burd around last week, too. I'm afraid I will be losing the HollBurd soon to a certain company in Oregon that has become quite impressed with Burd. So much so, that they flew him on over to meet him in person last week, and are now trying to get the two luvBurds to FLY THE COUP to Oregon and have Burd join the company. Hate to lose them, but this might be a fabulous opportunity for them. Life is an adventure every step of the way, and theirs is just beginning.

Hey! Did you see the YouTube clip called the Ultimate Dog Tease?

We got some good laughs out of that one!

Ha Ha! So long, for now. :)

Mom is 3/4 of a Century!

Imagine living three-quarters of a century. Mom reached that milestone today! She follows dad by just a couple of weeks. That's really something to celebrate! Happy birthday, Mom!

One candle still glowing! I know who that's for :). Aren't those two of the sweetest people on the entire earth?!

My tulips got in on the celebration and were in fine form today, just for Mom.

Happy birthday, Mom! Love you so much!
